- Our Classic LightBar attaches to B-pillars creating a sturdy mount, designed to stiffen your convertibles chassis.
- LightBar is constructed of a sturdy 1 ¼” round steel tube, with a 1/8” wall thickness.
- Polyurethane is then molded around the tube and hand-wrapped in vinyl, grained to match your car's interior trim.

Ordered the light bar for my 2014 mustang gt. Customer service /communication was excellent throughout the ordering/pick up process. The LB totally transforms the look of the car with the top down. I was worried it would be in the way of the seats, or hinder the back seat... Not at all. Instructions were great, install took about 2 hours. Highly recommend CDC as a company and for their products.
Very nice product. I was able to install on my own, taking my time. About a three hour job. Make sure you have sharp drill bits as the metal is thick! Also you may want to lubricate the ends of the bar before inserting to help. The directions are excellent and I love the look. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent quality and design. Looks great on the car. Very detailed Instructions. I would also recommend watching YouTube video. I would defiantly recommend this to Mustang convertible owners!
Installation was much easier than expected. Did have some issues with the electrical connections, kept coming undone despite tie tie wraps and electrical tape. Brake light worked with back seat out, however once reinstalled would fail. Problem was with the connection to the brake light wire. Had to re connect with numerous tie wraps and electrical tape , also tie wrapped brake light wiring to back of vehicle. this ensured solid connections. Light bar works and looks great on my 14 GT/CS Convertible. The brake light does dim when the top is up and your driving at night, which was a concern...it does not distract. Would have given 5 stars if not for the wiring connectors provided.
I recently installed a Lightbar on my wife's 2007 GT/CS. The quality of the product was excellent. We ordered direct from CDC so we could get it in Dove grey to match the interior; which it did perfectly. Instructions were very clear and it took about 4 hours to install which is what they say to plan for. That was taking my time and double checking. If you are a visual person CJ Pony Parts has an installation video that I found to be the best. Everything fit as intended and worked without issue. Looks great. Should have done it a long time ago.
Awesome product, great fit, easy to install. So glad I chose the Dove Grey color to match my interior panels instead of the Charcoal. Other colors not available at some of the distributors, so best to buy directly from CDC. Great folks to work with. Wish I could share a picture of my '07 GT/CS - looks great.
I installed the carbon fiber version with the light on my 2011 GT500 and it looks amazing. Not too hard to install yourself, just take your time with the instructions.
If you like the look of the first gen Shelby convertibles then this is for you.This item has the New and optional ILight feature.CDC did a professional install at the 50th anniversity event,and this also with the top down gives the car a completely different look.Awesome job CDC.
Product shipped fast and fit well. Prior to purchase all emails were answered fully and detailed - very good customer service. As for the product - Install isn't hard if you take your time and have decent mechanical skills. Instructions were easy to follow and all the necessary parts were included. Overall a very nice product, fit well and looks good on the car.
I bought the new light bar with the ILight built into it. The instructions were very well written and the lights worked correctly the first time I tried them. The bar slipped right into the mounting brackets perfectly. I was really impressed with the quality of this product. Also feels like the light bar has helped tie the body together and it seems a little more ridged now.
I bought my Light Bar in the Spring immediately after buying my 2012 Mustang convertible. The difference in appearance with the top down was astounding and the installation only took two hours thanks to detailed instructions. Every Mustang convertible should come from the factory with one of these!
