Mustang Makeover Winner!
CDC is very excited to announce this years Mustang Makeover Winner is Michael S. for Colonia New Jersey. Michael's 2013 Mustang is truly stock and the Performance Styling professionals at CDC are ready to make it POP! He won us over with his enthusiasm and creativity used in entering. Here's what Micheal had to say about himself and winning our second annual contest.
My name is Michael from central New Jersey. I've been a huge Mustang fan for as long as I can remember. When growing up I was always drawing cars and Mustangs were always my favorite. Whenever I saw a Mustang it caught my eye like nothing else could. My jaw would drop and my heart would stop every time I saw one. My biggest dream in the world was to own one when I got older. My first screen-name was even "mickeymustang" when I was about 11 years old.
With all my love for the car and the lifestyle I finally just woke up one day last year and decided it was time to make one of my dreams come true. So in the midst of going to school and working as much as I could I purchased my 2013 V6 Mustang as base as can be on June 2, 2012. There's just something about getting in that car, seeing that pony on the steering wheel and turning the key to start the car and hear the engine roar. Now not for nothing, my car is amazing as is but I wanted something more than that. Ever since the RTR came out I was addicted. I loved those beautiful charcoal wheels, the front chin spoiler, the decal on the hood and the sides, and just every little piece that really completed a special unique look. I thought I'd have to wait another decade or two to get that look until I entered CDC's Stock to Pop contest.
I was so excited and anxious just thinking about this contest. I went crazy and in my head I was just picturing how awesome my car would look if it looked like an RTR. Everyday since I entered just seemed to go by so slow, I couldn't wait much longer to find out if I won or not. I couldn't pass up the opportunity so I entered and sent in pictures of my car, and what do you know, I won! Words can't describe how excited I am, I really can't wait to see my car get transformed. I can't tell you how many years it would've taken me to transform my car piece by piece. I'm not one of those people that just wanted to win any old contest. I'm not going to go home, take off all the parts I win and sell them. This is THE contest, and it’s for MY Mustang. All of this happening at Mustang Memories just seems right because that is exactly what this is going to create, memories! Let's just say I hope there will be an ambulance at the show because I might have a heart attack from all the excitement. I just can't wait to see the end result!
